Maggie is the Dickinson’s maid. She is portrayed by Darlene Hunt.
Season One
Maggie is hired in 1x02 of Dickinson, much to Mrs. Dickinson’s dismay but eventually warms to her.
She is sometimes clumsy especially after immediately lighting the oven on fire when making a loaf of bread but an exquisite cook non the less
Her and Emily Dickinson seem to get on pretty well, and she helps her make bread in order to please Edward Dickinson.
She is an immigrant from Ireland.
Season 2
Maggie steals back Emily’s poetry from Sam Bowles.
Maggie is a wonderful kind woman who always looks out for Emily.
